About Newport Street Gallery
Opened in 2015 in south London, Damien Hirst’s Newport Street Gallery realises the artist’s ambition to share his art collection, and the works of artists he admires, with the public. Designed by Caruso St John, the gallery spans five converted buildings, three of which are Victorian listed and were purpose-built as painting studios. The gallery spans 37,000 square feet and includes six exhibition spaces – one with a ceiling height of 11 metres – split over two levels.
Previous exhibitions have included Wes Lang: The Black Paintings, Brian Clarke: A Great Light, and Damien Hirst: The Currency. Admission is free.
